Was curious to see his conference rankings so far this year.

Used to get it from RPI, but RPI is dead. I would assume the Big East is around 4-5 in Conference rank? Thanks

Only Big East "superfan" stever would create a ranking like this one, and interpret it as a negative for the Big East. Here is his post today from the other board:

I think the big takeaway is that the NET doesn't reward anywhere near as much for moral victories.... Big East only 4-20 vs tier 1 games right now. Of the big 4- that's the worst- B12 9-9, B10 18-31, ACC 13-17."

A more charitable interpretation might, for example, point out that the Big East is third in the RPI and virtually tied for third in the NET. And of course stever's beloved AAAAAAACCC is rated far below all P-5 leagues and the Big East in both rankings.

Yeah, that shouldn't be approved here since he always complains when people use RPI. Now that conference rankings are available by NET (at Warren Nolan), RPI is 100% irrelevant. Guess he's backtracking to fit his narrative...

Also an odd insight to get from that chart lol. -2 is statistically insignificant, especially given the smallest available sample size (10 teams).

Exhibit A: my Johnnies are enjoying a 29 NET (RPI is 44... +15).

I enjoy some push back, but it has to be intelligent and noteworthy.
