Small pressure maybe, but a ton is an exaggeration and wishful thinking on your part. Quinerly, as well as Brunson and Spellman were ranked in the 20s, hardly guaranteed college BB studs. I hope Jay learns from this, because if JQ got even 10 minutes a game, none of this happens and he'd be blameless even if JQ transfers out.

Nova nation's in a meltdown mode, but yeah I agree that the season isn't lost. Kansas game is going to tell us a lot about the team's character. Next year's class? I'm not so sure. The balance is weird with Antoine & Moore and JRE & Dixon playing same positions. Wouldn't surprise me if at least 2 or more of those players get in Jay's doghouse and never see playing time. Oh, and unless this JQ issue is completely overblown, I have to watch Gillespie try valiantly but utterly fail at initiating offense again.

Maybe JQ is another Cheek or Wayn, sort of uncoachable and thinks he's better than he really is? Not worried about it too much, Brunson and Spellman worked out great. We won't know more about next years class til next year unfortunately. This years class is looking solid, Bey and Swider are going to be very good and Slater looks like an ideal candidate for the Jay Wright freshman RS program, we've seen how that usually works. I don't get why people are so down on Gillespie, Archie wasn't that aesthetically pleasing to watch initiating the offense either at first. I think Booth is much more cringe worthy in that regard than CG.

Yeah,my bad, mixed up the new football rule where you can play 4 games and still redshirt, even without being injured. Slater has played in 6 out of 11 games so far, Divincenzo played in 8 games early in 15-16 got hurt and redshirted. When does the injury have to occur? Say he sits 7 more games, then gets "injured" can he still redshirt? Seriously it's hard to keep up with and interpret NCAA rules sometimes.
BTW, this how you issue a mea culpa without moving goalposts or selectively using, framing, and editing data. You should try it sometime.
