Great win, Johnnies. Way to close that one out. Princeton was shooting very well in the first half. Undefeated 9-0 start for St. John's is great for the conference.

Congrats to SJU! Make us proud! NYC!!!!!
28 years ago was a very long time ago. I remember St. John's playing Duke for a Final 4 Berth in either 1990 or 1991. I remember St. John's had a 10 point lead with about 5 minutes in the game and blew it. Billy Singleton , Sealy and maybe a young Ron Artest. I graduated in 1987 and went to a lot of games until about 1993 and then I stopped going. Crazy I lost interest in the team when the team was a national power and now I follow them very closely now. I saw Chris Mullin one time in school. I remember him standing outside a class room with a dungaree jacket on . He was so young looking back then. Never saw Lou Carnaseca on campus , saw Bill Wennington in the cafeteria. St. John's was like a high school back in the 1980's. Very old and run down. Now it's super fancy.
28 years is a drop in the bucket...you young Pun...whippersnappers. 1990 - I was going to see my uncle Saddam, by way of Admin Support Unit, Manama, Juffair, Bahrain - the Pearl of the Persian Gulf. Better known by many as Alcohol Support Unit, Bahrain. "Kickin' Back" at the Gulf Hotel, if I remember correctly...
