2019 BE Non-Conference Schedules...

IMO I think he could resign if we miss the tournament. As someone else said Ponds will be gone, probably Heron, and I'm sure tons would transfer out losing faith in the staff completely. We have no legitimate HS recruits for 2019 as of yet either. This season could be good but the season after that will be a disaster if things don't drastically change very quickly. So it doesn't make a difference 4 or 5 years. Our head coach and at least 1 assistant are seemingly in California 95% of the year. It's not like they are totally dedicated at all...which is not acceptable IMO at this level. Mullin didn't even show up to some show about the Big East and was the lone missing coach when all others showed. It will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in SJ history not getting Hurley instead. Hate to say that but I'm a blunt realist. Let's just pray that somehow someway we end up in the tourney next year and take it from there.

just confirmed Michigan at Nova rematch will be at the Pavilion, not at Wells Fargo Center. Wonder if they will raise the banner that night.

The last three years the full conference schedule has been released on the second Tuesday of September. So look for it on September 11th this year.

SJU had two losses last year with a harder schedule and no bench.
This year they have a softer schedule with a better bench.

If they lose one game, it better be at Duke, any other loss will be a disaster.

Ok all 10 schedules are listed on the top of Page 1 of this thread. The only questions are the dates of several Georgetown games.

Looks to me like Seton Hall has the best non conference schedule with Marquette, Nova, PC, Creighton, and Xavier all closely lumped together.

Butler, and Depaul could do better honestly.

Really surprised how poor SJU's is given they are thinking about NCAA this year.

Georgetown has a better schedule than last year but they need to do better. It hurts the conference.

PC's schedule is going to hinge on 1 game quite frankly- do they get to play Michigan by beating South Carolina. If they do, their schedule is right up there. If not, it's definitely out of that big group...

I like out of that 5 school group- Nova and Xavier a lot. More road/neutral tests. Creighton next in my mind. Marquette too heavy home schedule IMO....

on Georgetown- I don't think poor schedules will hurt the conference any where near as much in the new system as it did the old system. Georgetown in Ken Pom finished the season #94.
