Yeah Stever, but virtually anyone would want to be in that boat.

without a doubt. And the numbers make sense- 3 of the 7 champions made the sweet 16 and a 4th made 2nd round. All 7 won at least 20 games.

Nova is a blue blood now, so I doubt their fans care if they have a down year. All these NBA players will just help them long term for recruiting, anyways.

It can be argued that Paschall was our 2nd most important player last year. His numbers are outstanding without that 1 for 350 from the distance to start the season. While our floor is certainly lower, I still think the ceiling is another 1 seed and a trip to the final four.

No shame in a S16 season regardless of the expectations, but especially after a title and losing 4 players to the NBA. I just don't believe that we lost our 4 best players.

What's really interesting is what KenPom is saying. After post draft decisions he still has Nova in his Top 5. If the rumors are true and we have a shot at Reid Travis as a 5th Yr transfer, things get a little more interesting.

Either way we Nova fans have to admit we are playing with house money. I've watched with my own eyes 2 NC's in the last 3 years. Sometimes I still have to convince myself that it wasn't a dream.

Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism. Hope you can handle a little adversity & disappointment as well as you have success. Everything is cyclical- success/failure. Good luck this coming season. Nova's had a great 5 year run.

We're still in the honeymoon phase. The vultures will be back if Nova fails to make the 2nd weekend.
