They did. I think it's a lot of hope quite frankly and not reality by any means.

No, it still exists in some form because some athletes have legit family hardships. It's just harder to get and apparently his mother is legitimately very sick and has been the last year. He's not transferring because of lack of playing time or something like that, it seems to legitimately to be about being closer to her.

Clearly, he was not...? Two players from Auburn made the All-Conference team ahead of him, and a third player made the all-defensive team ahead of him. Heron is a welcome addition to any team, he's that good, but he's not stepping in and taking over for a Big East team who currently has the best player in the conference returning at the same exact position as Heron.

A. A freakish 6'5"? That's about as average as it comes when talking about basketball players' heights, especially 2 guards.
B. I promise he is not as good as Ponds.
C. He MIGHT make 2nd team all conference, but there won't be 2 Johnnies on the first team, and Ponds will be on the first team.

He was voted to the AP Second Team. The Coach poll was seen as a strange omission. I'll trust the AP here:
