Lunardi's bracket- 04Apr18

Listed in order of seedings... I think he's way off. Marquette very low, no Providence in the mix.
Butler and X too high as compared to previous listings on this thread.

1Villanova 1 seed
2Butler 6 seed
3Xavier 8 seed
4Creighton 10
5Seton Hall 10
6Marquette 11

If Marquette is an 11 seed next year and we don't have a miracle run to the sweet 16, Wojo will begin to feel some heat.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Marquette was 2nd team in with Lunardi so it might be even worse than you think.

Lunardi is one of the worst bracketologists. He and Palm are both terrible. Lunardi is #68 and Palm is #82 in this ranking... http://bracketmatrix.com/rankings.html .
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

You do understand both are above average. Neither one are remotely close to the bottom- so hardly worst by any stretch.

Neither Lunardi nor Palm would get a bid with those "RPIs"

If we actually recruited decent bigs like everyone else on planet earth and got 2 or 3 solid ones with good size in addition to a real coach, I'd pick us to be top 5 and in the tournament.

Wow! Did Mullin retire? I hadn't heard that.....

He's typically bitter and kneejerk, but I can understand some of his bitterness this go around. A big, big season for the Johnnies in '18'-19 on the court and recruiting. If Ponds return (which, I suspect will happen) and the Johnnies add a solid big (or two), then we should be good to go. Hearing we're very high on the list of of a couple of '19 recruits (Jalen Gaffney, whose stock seems to be rising, and Kofi Cockburn).
