You can say all you want that it shouldn't hold more weight than just simply a tough loss. It doesn't work that way.

Now, I will say that Mack gets a bit more of a pass for these 2 flameouts in 3 years than Wright did before winning the title- because he does have 4 sweet 16's and an elite 8 in the last 8 years prior to this.

And this is why you have 0 credibility. And this is not a knock on Mack; I think he’s an excellent coach. But Mack, who’s never been to one, let alone 2 FF’s gets a Stever pass and Izzo who lost to 2 double digit seeds and hasn’t gotten out of the first weekend the last 3 years gets a Stever pass. But the most accomplished active coach in the BE doesn’t measure up to your AAC loving standards? Whatever Dbag troll.

Since 2005, JW has made (2) FF’s, (3) E8’s and (6) S16’s. And they’re still alive in 2018. Let me ask the rest of the BE fan base not named Stever... Who here would sign up for that level of success for your own program without hesitation?

So take your references to flameouts and stick them up that AAC loving hole.

God its amazing how JW can't coach in the tournament was a narrative. One of the most utterly stupid things people can say

Best coach in the country, bar none.

Nova's 27-11 under Jay Wright. He's had only 2 bad losses in his entire tournament career, NC State and St. Mary's. What coach (with enough high seeded teams) doesn't have 2 bad losses? The underperformer label was never a fair one, especially given that Jay's had some significant tournament success before those 2 bad losses.

No, Wisconsin losses by BOTH Nova and X were unfortunate losses but not bad losses. Losses like that are called March Madness. They happen to every program. No program can be expected to live up to their seed line when that seed line is 1 or 2 every year.

A bad loss? How about UVA to UMBC...MSU to Middle Tenn...Wich St to Marshall...Duke to Mercer or Lehigh...Baylor to Ga St. , etc. Those are bad, double digit seed, losses. Losing to a power conference team in the 2nd round is not a bad loss. Had Seton Hall knocked off KU or Butler beaten Purdue this year would any of us had considered those bad losses for the top seeds? No, because we have seen SHU and Butler give teams like Nova and X all they could handle in conference games. Those are tough teams that could be terrible matchups for anyone. They had more than enough to win a big game like that. How is that any different than the Wisconsin team that knocked both Nova and X out in consecutive years? It’s not.
