Congrats to Nova. Loving the Big East. But, I'd be lying if I said I'm not a bit jealous. Hoping Mac can find a way to get us at least into the second weekend someday.

Congratulations! I've watched every Nova game this season, and think we may be the greatest stall-ball team ever with a big lead.

Thanks man!! Congrats on the win! Such a fun team to watch.

This proved to be the story pretty much all tournament and Nova showed they could win in so many different ways never becoming rattled despite what the other team is doing; just adjust and keep on trucking. To me, this years tournament run has seemed very controlled and measured, kind of like a been there done that and gonna do it again.

Congrats Nova and BE.

Worthy Champions, left no doubt over the last three weeks which is the best team in the land. Last night was just another demonstration of that. So impressive.

Now, I don't mean this with any sour grapes attitude at all, but the BE needs to get a different team or two into the final four in the next two years to avoid becoming thought of as the Big 12 - one great team that dominates all the time and a movable cast of characters below that. Of course, our great team handled Kansas twice in three years, and basically chewed up and spit out every Big 12 team it has faced in March.

Providence is not doing its job in March, the 5th straight year we can't get past the first weekend and 4th time out of 5 we didn't win our first game. I can take some solace in knowing PC has played Nova the toughest this year not once but twice, and was Nova's toughest matchup in March.

But still, Villanova is a legit blue blood now, and I can't see how a neutral can't admire them.

actually the final 4 results are meaningless in terms of units.... The max units 1 team can get is 5.

Big East wound up with 13 units- Big Ten wound up with 12 units.

So BE earned 1.3 units per conference member and the Big 10 earned .85 units per team. Nice effort.

Is 2018 Villanova the best Big East team ever?

2nd best. 1983-84 Georgetown.

As good as Donte’s offense was - and he was insanely good - I was equally impressed with his defense. How many times did he miss a shot or turn the ball over, but race down court to block the shot or disrupt the play at the other end? The kid played at an amazingly high level and with incredible energy. What a poster boy for that program. 8-)

Congrats to Nova! What a complete dismantling of the Wolverines! Well deserved Champions and what a pleasure to watch a group of talented players dismantle an opponent and not talk trash or display any gamesmanship!
