No Records in AAC Media Guide

The AAC Media Guide is out for football and contains no prior records. They are starting clean meaning the Big East should be keeping the hoops records as well as the records from the Olympic sports that are sponsored.

Just means the possibility we kept all the records is still alive. Both sides could just choose to scrap all the records, then we might never know who retained various rights.

I thought the president of Providence in an interview stated that when the Catholic Schools negotiated the name they also took the record book with them other than football.

He only said they negotiated to get basketball's records, nothing about other sports or football. Even then, the presidents could decide it is in their best interest to scrap those records. Big XII is just the Big 8 after adding some SWC schools, but they dumped their Big 8 records books.

The basketball records are what the Big East is hanging is hat on.

Name, check
MSG, check
BBall records, check

It took a little bit, but the key parts are aligned.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

The value for this league is the history so I assume we did whatever we could to keep the records along with the league name.
