LOL! That grey haired ref has been screwing up for years now and now y'all just now noticing when he makes a bad call at the end... The worst part is that they let it go all game and inserted themselves into the last two plays! (Inconsistent and bad calls are the norm in college basketball this year, just your turn to get burned.)

BTW the bottom of the BE looks to be very tired of being doormats and are playing like we thought they might all year.

Yea this thread is embarrassing for creighton fans. The white haired ref was horrible all game (he was the one that called the foul against bluiett on the 3 at the end).

If anyone thinks there was MORE contact on that 3 with 4 seconds left than against Goodin at the end, I don’t know what to tell you. Bluiett grazed the shooter with 4 seconds left ... there was A LOT of contact against Goodin on the layup.

I would prefer neither were called quite frankly (and if that was the case, Xavier would have won). But to call one and not the other would not have been right. Much more contact against Goodin. That white hair ref shouldn’t have another big east game. He was BAD.

That was as bad a call the end of the game is you'll ever see. Look at Twitter – every national sports writer agrees that it was a terrible call.

What contact on the Goodin drive? His elbowing of Ronnie’s armpit or him barreling into 2 straight up defenders? There wasn’t a lot of contact and most definitely no arm contact or anything that wasn’t initiated by Goodin. Stop lying to yourselves that the refs didn’t hand you guys this game.

There wasn’t a ton of contact on the 3 but the contact was on the arm of a shooter. We both played B/B- games but the refs brought their F games today.

In live time, i thought it was a bad call on the three also. Replay shows contact. The blocking foul called when a player is driving hard to the house and initiates contact is a little more subjective. Coach Mack even said as much after the game.

Oh well. Move onto the next one.

I can't imagine there is a fan of any other team here who would, given the context of the moment and the severity (lack there of) of the foul, that would take the following position: "yep, that should have been called on Tre".

As for the final call, two wrongs don't make a right.

But, I'm sorry, it was a ticky-tac foul on Bluiet and it never should have come to what transpired at the other end.
