The Marquette v St. John's matchup is intriguing.

Can Marquette snag a badly needed V.

Does Mullin demonstrate some real coaching: get his team prepared for a key game, coming off two blockbuster performances.

We'll know soon enough.

also like the BU NOVA matchup. Nova's still shorthanded coming off a loss. they also didn't shoot well against SJU.

I'll take all home teams to win this set.

Confidence order:
1. Villanova
2. Providence
3. Georgetown
4. St. John's
5. Creighton

Surprised to see the comments over on CBS... https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... hat-it-is/
(folks knocking the Muskies). Xavier is our current Top BE team and is a very, very good team.

Should be a good, close game (Jays vs Muskies) in Omaha. Historically, X and CU have a tendency to put on great shows, the earlier game this year @Cintas being an exception.
2nd of 4 tough games for Xavier...I expect the Jays to hold serve on our home court (of course). Good luck to X vs the other upcoming games (Hall and Nova).

I'd say 3rd out of 5 tough games seeing as how the Johnnies gave them all they could handle last week.

X will pound it inside to O'Mara, Kanter and Jones with the absence of Krampelj. The Jays will win if they can rain 3's and hit 50% of them.
