I think that you have to have Angel to protect the rim and rebound. Hell, he wouldn't need to take the first shot and he still might be the leading scorer with all the put backs he would get!

Angel isn't really much of a rim protector though. That's why he's tough to get into foul trouble - he almost never goes for blocks. He just positions himself to force guys to shoot over him and then gets the rebound.

I still think he would be a great weapon for 3 on 3. Angel and the best 2 jump shooters we have. Toss him the ball in the post and let him go to work on his man - in 3 on 3 the defense wouldn't be able to double him without leaving him a very easy kick-out for 3. And when the jumper doesn't fall...guess who's underneath looking for the rebound.
