Wow, Seton Hall made us look like sh-t last night. PC had a 19-17 lead, though both teams were sloppy and making mistakes.
Then The Hall went on like a 22-0 run. Game played out with the lead ranging from 15 to 20 points. Carrington dominated. The real hidden weapon for Seton Hall is Powell. Tip of the hat to Pirates fans packing the house in Newark.
Pretty clear now that Jordan is a great coach. Butler doesn't make a lot of mistakes and the players are all in sync.
Marquette, not to keep repeating the same thing over and over on Groundhog Eve, but they cannot have both Howard and Rowsey on the floor at the same time. I noticed early 2nd half, Butler seemed to score every time down the court. For a couple-few possessions, Marquette set up a 1-2-2 or 2-1-2 zone, with Rowsey and Howard trying to be hidden under the basket... impossible to rebound though.
Marquette has some talent. To me, lost in the attention that H&R get, is that Cain, Anim, Elliott, and Hauser are great players. Froling still seems too raw at this point. Theo John looks good with some nice moves, and just needs to learn how to finish at the hoop.
