So you're going to one of "those" guys. Neither of Bridges plays at the end were fouls.

If the jerseys were switched, those are both fouls.

No they wouldn't, but you're a Marquette fan I wouldn't expect you to recognize good D when you see it.

I really thought Marquette was going to take this one... but the untimely turnovers killed their momentum each time. They need to be careful with the passes and improve the handling... Sloppy at time despite killer shooting...

Also, Where was Howard today? He was a ghost in the court. Terrible outing. He even missed the front-end of a 1n1 in a critical point of the match

Marquette fans can't talk about fouls. They had plenty of opportunities and blew it each time. I was rooting for them today. But they f'cked up over and over again. Shooting alone won't get you victories. You have to ride momentum, not kill it with TOs when you are about to take the lead.

I didn't think the rebound was a foul, but you could at least make an argument that it was. The strip on the drive to the lane was an excellent all-ball defensive play, though.

Fun game to attend, unfortunately the best team in the country was the opponent. Good win Nova.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

That was a very good game today in the Bradley Center, absolutely a great college basketball environment. Sorry if I ruffle some feathers, just still a little worked up after an great ending to a great game. Again didn't really want to rub salt into the wounds, just some post game banter that escalated a little bit.

You guys were lucky to even be close. Worst defense I've seen Villanova play all year.

You'll be lucky to make it past the first weekend with your D.

Lol they have a top 50 defense. It sounds like you only watch them when they play Marquette, who to their credit has been good at scoring on Nova. But, no one else other than Butler, aided by a ridiculous shooting night, has been able to score effectively against them.

Ah yes...FTs. 19/24 V to 9/12 M Otherwise a close game.
Funny how you guys immediately pointed out those late Bridges plays...They do standout and shout, but no calls.
In 40 states those were fouls. No problem as it was in Wisconsin @ Marquette (would have been no calls the other way or vs Wisconsin too).

See you in Philly on Thursday...hopefully WFC has paid its' insurance as the joint will be lit up.
No blaming the refs, no excuses...Just great hoops. Jays W 87- 82.

see ya, gtmo

I'd also like to give some credit to the visiting Nova fans. All class acts in my section (though it was just the 4 of you).
