Pleading with my Friars to squeak by this game at URI, and take care of business vs Manhattan and Albany or whoever we're facing. Just get thru non-con at 8-3.

I feel like Nova either turns things around with this game or the season is toast. A Nova team showing signs of life is good for the conference. Cam Whitmore should be ready to go soon.

Barring a top 2 Big East finish Nova needs this win if they want a shot at the tourney imo.

I'd agree. a loss here, and probably need to go 14-6 in conference play to make the tourney. That's gonna be tough to do for sure.

Depends on how the conference can finish the rest of ooc schedule. Nova would need more Q1 opportunities than projected atm.

I can't remember where I heard it, but there was a comment made somewhere that Moore might just sit out the season and then move on. Hopefully Whitmore doesn't go that route too.

We can only go by Neptune's words, that Whitmore's been day-to-day since last week. I'd say he suits up for Penn game if he doesn't play tomorrow. Moore should take the redshirt if he isn't close to 100% whether he goes pro or comes back for a super senior year. I'm sure that decision is still on the table.

Huge games today for teams with NCAA tourney aspirations. Xavier/Nova fighting for resume wins. Providence/Butler trying to avoid resume killers. Marquette with a top 25 ranking on the line. Bring home those W's.

Nova is 2-5, but favored over 6-1 Oklahoma? Hopefully Nova can right the ship.
