Wow. The Dons of USF may make it in...after all these years.

Where's the Mountain Hawks? I don't see my Mountain Hawks.

Youse got a problem with the Patriot League???

because I'm a man of the people, I added it for you.

So 1 thing looking- Loyola plays Northern Iowa on Sunday. I think either Loyola wins- and then would take back the auto bid or Northern Iowa wins- and Loyola would be below the cutline. Either way, there would be an extra at-large spot come Monday.

I've always been a huge USF Dons fan. Besides Gonzaga, if the Dons went on a multi-year run, they would be the only WCC team that would be a good candidate for expansion... history, big destination city, near an NBA arena...

I think if USF can split with Santa Clara and St Mary's on the road(either one a Q1 win) and avoid the bad loss @ Pacific, @ San Diego and then in the conference tournament- I think USF is in really good shape this year. Looks like they might finish 4th and so might not even have a shot at a bad loss- would be set up to play BYU in the QF.

It shouldn't be this easy. Creighton has 3 better wins (Nova, @Marquette, @UCONN) than best wins from SF, BYU, and St. Mary's resume put together, without any Q4 loss (SF and BYU has one each), not to mention they crushed BYU on neutral court, yet they're in more precarious position and below those 3 teams in most brackets...

I think Creighton is they only have 4 Q1/2 wins vs 6 for Saint Mary's/San Francisco and 8 for BYU.

That loss to Arizona St really holding them back probably.

Also would say at least with Bracketville and Lunardi- they have Creighton ahead of BYU at least...

It's really in Creighton's hands. If they can win these next 3 easier games- h2h with Georgetown and @ DePaul- they really only need 2 more wins to feel I think really comfortable.

Rumors that freshman Arthur Kaluma could miss multiple games after hyperextending his knee against Butler on Tuesday. Huge blow to our chances to finish strong and earn an NCAA bid. Kaluma has started every game this year and has played his best basketball recently.

Also, Mac confirmed that junior guard Shereef Mitchell is likely done for the year and seldom used freshman John Christofilus broke his foot and is done for the year. Mitchell has been out since early this season, but was the returning player with the most experience coming into the season.

Sucks.

If there are any 2 games you'd think he'd be able to miss and you'd get away with it- it's the 2 coming up with Georgetown.

Two of these games are make ups. That really sucks.
