I see DePaul is in our customary 10th place position.

Clearly, the key to DePaul's resurgence is to expand the league to the point where being picked to finish 10th is a good thing. I think 30 or 40 schools should do the trick. I look forward to the 2050 Big East Tournament where we'll look to hold off 28th-seeded Holy Cross in the opening round.

DePaul isn't last? That is progress.

The pace of DePaul's progress should pick up considerably starting next season.

DePaul 2021 Basketball Commits - 247Sports
National Rank: 5 (Previous Year: 117)
Big-East Rank: 2 (Previous Year: 10)
Average Rating: 0.9621 (Previous Year: 0.8900)

Four four-star commitments! Well done Blue Demons!

Expect DePaul to begin their ascent into the top half of the Big East in 2021-22. On paper, DePaul should be at or near the top of the Big East by 2025.

Jeff Goodman`s AA List.

NO Gilespie?
Has Jays Marcus Z 1st Team, Nova's JRE on 2nd Team. THREE (3) Big 12 guys 1st Team???

on DePaul - their 2021 class just keeps getting better. Blue Demons pick up Preston Murphy, Jr. (former CU Asst's son).
Jr is a very good PG.

Goodman? There's a reason he wasn't invited to be on the BlueNotes Preseason Review Zoom meeting. Pedestrian understanding of all things hoops, unlike guys like Chap and Fanta.

Here's what I'll tell you about Nova. BE coaches think Colin is our best player; many college hoops pundits expect JRE to be the man; but many of us Nova fans think it'll be Justin Moore. Yeah, Creighton has that one guy that everyone has to stop... But the Radnorites, go ahead and just focus on shutting one guy down...         (that's my evil laugh BTW)

I'm not a huge Goodman fan, but he's right in that Bouknight was hosed.

Only way we live up to this is if Dawson Garcia plays like a Duke or Kentucky level freshman, Koby returns to Utah State Koby, and DJ Carton is everything he's billed to be.

Sadly I expect Garcia to be about Joey Hauser good. DJ Carton to be like sophomore Markus, and Koby to again be frazzled by every little thing and then go off in a couple games.

Damn Boxer - luvin' the confidence,

You've got a better, more balanced, and defensive squad. Koby, Carton, Cain, Torrence, John, Elliott, and Perez are
more than willing to spread the offensive load around. You've got good bigs in Cain, John, Ighodaro, Ike, and Gardner.
Then add 2 high-end Frosh bigs in Garcia and Justin Lewis. That's a very good team.

DJ is the straw that stirs the drink...will make plays, make dimes, and make everyone else better. Koby steps up to be
the #1 offensive option, with Cain, Elliott, and Torrence stepping up their games too.

ESPN: "Both Seton Hall and Marquette are still poised to win at a high level. Both teams are going to do it differently.
Myles Powell and Markus Howard were guys that could take over a basketball game. You have some guys ready to break out into bigger roles.
Marquette brought in D.J. Carton [Ohio State], he's a bona fide NBA prospect. Bryce Aiken [Harvard] is a high-level guard who belongs in the Big East.
Both guys can lead their team, make guys better, make clutch baskets. Then you take it down another layer, [Sandro Mamukelashvili] is one of the top two
frontcourt players in our league in terms of his versatility. Marquette recruited [Dawson] Garcia and Justin Lewis, two young prospects at the same position
as Mamu. [Seton Hall's] Tyrese Samuel, he's super talented. He can break out. On Marquette's roster, Jamal Cain is back, big year [coming up] for Theo John.
... Both Seton Hall and Marquette can still be major players in our league. But you need reps. And it will be who can adjust best."

I picked them 3rd.
