Per Pete Thamel:

Sources: The Big East is planning on canceling the non-conference portion of its fall sports schedules. This includes, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's XC, volleyball and field hockey. (Basketball is not impacted).

Possible, but I'm not counting on it. So many schools are going to be feeling the financial impact of this that I bet many will simply say they don't want to lose money by having a cross country or field hockey season in the spring.

Or I could be wrong too. Atlantic 10 just announced that they are moving all fall sports and championships to the Spring.

At some point you would hope the NCAA steps in. How can you have like half the teams playing in fall, half playing in Spring? No NCAA tournament then?

CAA just cancelled football for the season. No Nova football. Really hate to say it, looking like BEST case scenario is January start for hoops.

It's rounding into a scenario where New Year's may be the most favorable option for hoops. Conference season only.

Damn...PO-tential top10-15 team heading into the season. The vast majority of our team returning intact. Excellent incoming 2020 recruiting class, And some significant transfers.
Now, we finally get the Battle for Atlantis...poss tilts against Puke, Ohio St, and WVA. Been beggin' for such an opportunity for YAAARS. Now we get it, only to be cancelled by
the Covid Pandemic. Give Me A F-in Break!
