As of today, every game played by our top 7 teams have implications for seeding in the BET. Someone on the Xavier board posted this "seeding calculator" and it's really fun to fool around with!

What's really cool is that it includes detailed 2nd/3rd level tiebreakers, which get really interesting for the 3 teams vying for the 1-2 seeds but also for the coveted 6th to avoid Wednesday.

Both Butler and Marquette are in a tailspin. Looks like MU will get to that magic 9th win without sweatin' it too much but for Butler and Xavier no such luck. In fact, good chance it comes down to the two March 7th epics, SHU @CU for the regular season Championship and Butler at Cintas on Senior night. Unfortunately, my underachieving Musketeers desperately need The Hall to get that #1 seed to win any tiebreaker vs BU, if both finish 9-9.

So there's a chance that SHU can play (2) potentially top 10 teams 4x within 5 games. Tremendous! That's either going to give them some callouses for a March run or beat the crap out of them where they flame out early. Damn!

Lets say they finish 3rd, and Butler 6th? That's 5 straight Top 25 Net teams (if BU can hold on) in a row! WOW! :o

Damn, I forgot about the Marq game. Make that potentially 6 straight Net Top 25 teams going into the dance. That would be a grind for sure.

Yeah, sorry, Creighton and Villanova fans. I'm rooting hard for Seton Hall to win outright to get that sweet tiebreaker goodness. If you wanted us to root for you, you should have let us beat you once.
