He is bringing along 3* center Nick Ongenda

Hopefully this works out better than the last time they tried hiring an assistant with a supposed connection

So, it's weird to say this about DePaul but ....that frontcourt's getting a little crowded, no?

That was my first thought as well, but maybe they were worried about getting through the early part of the season when Gordon is inelgible

There was talk of him possibly joining Anderson's staff at SJU. He's a good recruiter. Really helped WKU land some good players.

Them Blue Demons gonna be salty this season.

7. DePaul: The Blue Demons got over .500 last season, but it came on a diet of non-conference cupcakes and then four wins in the CBI. With the addition of transfers PF/Ctr Carte’Are Gordon (SLU), PF Darius Hall (Ark), possible play (with waiver) of PG Charlie Moore (KU), and a standout frosh class incl. Top 100 recruits Romeo Weems and Markese Jacobs,  here’s betting DePaul equals or betters last season.

Will it come at Creightons expense though? Maybe this is the year McDermott bottoms out and is asked politely yo leave Omaha?

Creighton's expense?? Nah, da Jays gonna finish 2nd behind Nova this season (2019-20) as we have some unfinished butt kicking to do. But don't sleep on Gordon, Hall, and Co. Gonna gel into a formidable team for Chitown.

Ol' Mac has old school game...always saves his best for last (and in time to save his job). He should have a banner year to justify his pre-existing contract extension, as well as a good recruiting cycle for 2020. Just my luck. ;)

Didn't realize it until now, but between Gage, Jacobs, and Moore DePaul is three-deep with Chicago kids at point guard. Not sure if it's a trend or a blip, but getting in better with the local talent pipelines never hurts, especially in a city like that.

How many Top 100 recruits does Chicago regularly produce and where do they usually end up going?

Incoming Markese Jacobs is another Chicago PG. Looking like a trend.

Chicago kids go B10, Illini, Purdue, etc. Elite kids to the usual schools, Ku, UNC, U.K., etc.
