Apologies for putting this here, but it's the off season and the show has become water cooler talk and what's more of a water cooler than a message board?
I remember watching the first year of GoT because we got free HBO as part of a cable promotion and my wife and I got hooked.
Great episode last night as a prelude to the Battle of Winterfell where lots of characters seem likely to die. I hope that the Night King doesn't reincarnate anyone from the living to fight against our heroes and heroines. Like, I hope Brienne doesn't get killed and then reincarnted and then kills Jaime. You know what I mean.
Hope we can have a little fun disucssing the show.

Seems ridiculous that anyone believed that Cersei would send the Lannister army north.

Completely obsessed with the show. Was late to the party but ended up bingeing seasons 1 through 5 and have watched 6 and 7 in real time. Definitely afraid of what’s to come on Sunday. I hope GOT hasn’t taken a page out of the teen horror film genre and kills off Arya now that she’s no longer a virgin!
Agreed on Cersei. She’s is an awful human being.

Must see TV here. Haven't read the books but I was told they are great. At this point, however, I don't think l I am willing to invest the time if would take to get through them.

None of us are ready for next week’s episode. Look up the theory of “The Great Other” if you haven’t yet. The crypts of winterfell are NOT where you want to be right now.

Way too obsessed with the show. Makes it really difficult to study for masters exams right now. Especially with the big episode coming up.

They won't include that in the show. I agree the crypts are not the place to be but they'd have to introduce a whole new level of evil and defeat it in one episode. Not the MO of the show. I suspect the dead starks will rise though.

They’ve already introduced it minorly through Bran and Hodor. The dead Starks are definitely rising, but they are going to introduce something more demonic/a greater power that the night king is after deep in the crypts.

Howso? Every indication of the great other theory I've heard seems to come from the books. Perhaps I missed something.
