DePaul beats Central Michigan 100-86 behind 33 points from Max Strus.
Right about now, I wonder what sort of odds Vegas would give me on DePaul being the last Big East team to be eliminated from post-season play.

It would be funny as hell for Old Big East fans to se USF and DePaul playing in the finals like this of anything.

USF hits a floater in the lane with 1.6 seconds to go in the game as they beat DePaul 63-61 in Game 1 of the Best of 3 series.
Game 2 in Chicago on Wednesday night.

I caught the last couple of minutes.
First play i saw, the refs screwed DePaul twice in one play. DePaul might've been down 2 points, with ball, around a minute left... Strus fed Olujibwe underneath, who jumped up to place the ball in the hoop... USF guy reached thru the bottom of hoop to block it... no goaltending called... the ball then popped off Olujibwe's hands towards out-of-bounds... a USF player who was standing on the baseline (out of bounds) caught the ball before re-establishing himself back in-bounds. USF kept the ball... i mean c'mon, this is basic refereeing, easy calls to make...
Not that it matters here in the CBI, but c'mon.
anyhoo, USF then had a shot clock violation, but those 2 pts were key a minute later when USF hit a floater to win. Cain had drilled a 3 to tie it with 10 seconds to play.

If needed, will game three also be in Chicago?
