SJU, DU, and GU are winless against the rest of the league. While it sucks for them, it's creating a perfect storm for the league to get 7 bids, as they're providing needed wins for the bubble teams, while not burdening them with questionable losses. I guess this shows how perfectly things have to align to get 7 bids.

Five years ago, do you think anyone on the boards and St Johns or Georgetown thought that their contribution to the league a half decade in would be as the patsies?

Better them (DePaul, Gtwn, & StJ) than us. Surprising, but good.

The two biggest coaching hire mistakes--Nepotism and NBA All-star Players--clipped all three.

Fair enough....but I think all would agree that Georgetown is playing above expectations in Ewing's first year. I think he's done a tremendous job to this point. We'll see how it plays out, but so far...no complaints here.

What Ewing is showing to me is how far Georgetown had fallen.
They are playing hard though.
