Which sport do you wish your school would be great at?

I assume that Big East men's basketball is the reason you visit here. But if your school could be great, like Final 4 caliber, in one other non-hoops sports that you currently compete in, what would it be? I am interested to see if there is a regional difference.

Lacrosse, followed by Soccer.

Baseball largely because the CWS is in Omaha. Creighton playing in the CWS in 1991 is still considered one of the great experiences for many Omaha sports fans.

Soccer. Other choice would be ice hockey, but I feel that SHU's lack of even sponsoring at the varsity level disqualifies it from this.

Hockey.

Mainly, because if Nova were good at hockey, then I would have been raised as more of a fan; I like the game, but never really had the time to get into it.

Women's Volleyball



Yep I went there. This player is clearly a Nova fan. But it's supposed to be V's up, not down.

Providence already is that level for Hockey so I would say Lacrosse.

Football. We wouldn't have quit playing in '48, and if that good we'd have either Baylor's or Northwestern's spot - pulling in an additional 20-40 mill per year. All about da Dinars baby.





Of the sports currently - team Tennis.. Jays already good in both Soccer's, VB, Baseball, Women's hoops. If da blood is blue, might as well go all the way!

Providence has been consistently successful in M & W XC for decades. (usually ranked top 25) Other sports have their up and down periods. As far as achieving "blue blood" status in a sport other than MBB I would pick M Hockey (build on the NC from a couple of years ago) followed by M LAX
