Should be an interesting game and entertaining for the casual fan. I expect a lot of three-point shooting and a lot of points between the two teams tonight. St. John's is better behind the arc, but Butler is better at defending it.

Maybe one of these days St. Johns will play Butler in MSG....

gtmo seems to hold a special dislike for Butler and Xavier as Creighton had been the least successful "New" school so far.

both teams are 0-0 in conference play and have the exact same points scored and allowed.

No, statistically, it is a Butler +7 advantage due to +20.80 adjusted efficiency margin combined with their average 68.1 possessions per game paired against St Johns' +5.36 adjEM and 73.4 poss/game. (Amazingly, the game projection is 71 possessions --- wonder how they came up with that ???? ) and the adjustment factor for home/road.
