With a few exceptions the Non-conference portion of the year is basically over. Here's the current attendance numbers (obviously these will most likely increase as we get into conference play).
1. Creighton----16,849
2. Marquette---12,504
3. Xavier--------10,236
4. Butler--------7,673
5. Georgetown-6,789
6. Seton Hall---6,563
7. Villanova----6,500 (Note that this is capacity at the Pavillion and they haven't played at Wells Fargo yet)
8. Providence--6,323
9. St. John's---5,004
10. DePaul----3,663
Conference---8,210
Pretty solid, for the most part.

Wow, UConn and Memphis starting to see big drop-offs in attendance. Both need to turn things around on the court. Side note, DePaul's # is laughably inflated.

They probably went to the DePaul school of inflating attendance numbers.

Georgetown has everyone beat in the Attendance BS department by about five thousand.

Interesting. How many Hoya home games have you been to this year?

Everybody plays the inflation game in college basketball. I get counted twice for each game even though I will probably only make about 2/3 and bring a guest to about half of the games. We are performing very well as a conference overall.

I agree with the other thread that Butler has been the surprise of OOC play, so why isn't their attendance higher? I don't know capacity, but I'd think HInkle would be overflowing instead BU attendance is just over half of Marquette and less than half of CU.

*Sigh*
We Butler fans have only explained the reason for this 1,000 times on this forum.
