really about as I expected. Xavier dropping 6 spots only losing to Baylor sucks- but it's only due to the week. It's no disrespect to the Big East- just was a very chalk week for teams just behind them, with a lot of big wins.

just looking at X's drop...
UCLA was 11 now is 2- beat Kentucky
Baylor was 9 now is 4- beat Xavier
Indiana was 13 now is 9- beat UNC
Louisville was 14 now is 12- beat Purdue

Gonzaga, Creighton, and St Mary's all stayed where they were but Xavier fell behind them.

Virginia was 6 now is 14- lost to West Virginia

Was very surprised that Virginia dropped out of the top 10. Figured the acc luv, and luv for Tony Bennett, and their defense would keep them in the top 10. Great for the Jays.

same thing that happened with Xavier. So many teams behind them won so they had to drop. Xavier was only one within like 10 spots behind them that lost.

This was posted on Xavier's forum and I am stealing.

If you go back 3 years ago to this same week, when the BE was first starting anew, there was 1 team in the top 16 (or the whole poll).
Villanova at #14.
Today there are 4 BE teams in the top 16.
