Lunardi posted 1st bracketology of regular season....
Xavier 3 South
Georgetown 12 West (PIG- highest one)
Creighton 6 West
Villanova 1 East(2nd overall seed)
Butler 8 MW
Seton Hall 11 MW(3rd team with a bye)
Marquette- 1st team out- I think. THey have 1st 4 out and next 4 out with the exact same teams. Weird.
1 total(and funny) mistake. He's got Butler playing in Indianapolis. But I think it's just a typo, as they have 3 in Indy and only 1 in Greenville.
1 matchup that would be funny. 2nd round in Milwaukee- Dayton vs Xavier. this place would be crazy!

He loves putting Xavier, dayton, and cincinnati matched up. He does it all the time...I mean last year he had Xavier playing the winniner of dayton and cincinnati so don't get your hopes up

I think part of that is that it's easy for the bracketing rules. 1 of the other 3 seeds can't replace Xavier(Virginia since ACC opponent in rd 1). 1 of the other 6 seeds can't replace Dayton(Creighton since BE). 1 of the other 11 seeds can't replace Florida St(Seton Hall). Also you have the regional aspect of things putting Gonzaga and Colorado out west.

Gotta beat Michigan tonight and then we can start looking at Marquette as possibly the BE's 7th(!) tourney team.

I just told him i was a fan, saw my Creighton shirt and said he's happy that there are 3 jesuit institutions at the Paradise Jam (loyola, saint joes, Creighton). I snapped a photo wirh him as well
. I was on the plane wirh the Loyola team and Joe was talking to their HC Porter Moser who is a Creighton alum.

My friend and I saw Lunardi in Greensboro at the NCAA game w McDermott and got a pic with him in the stands. We talked about Fr. Lannon ( past President at St Joe's and at that time Creighton -also a CU alum) and he was very complimentary of Fr. and Creighton. He couldn't have been nicer.
