Missing the first four games of the season as part of his waiver.

Yeah honestly if it wasn't for the fact that Georgetown clearly has an amazing legal department there's no way he should've gotten a 5th year of eligibility, so 4 games is a small price to pay. Honestly it seems like Georgetown has never lost an eligibility decision with the NCAA. We can get anyone eligible.

I actually prefer him being out as he is a liability on the defensive end

No disrespect, but who are you replacing him with at the 5 that is not a liability? Govan? He has his shortcomings on the defensive end also. Hayes is actually a better shot blocker.

Agau is unproven, Mourning is small & Derrickson can work in certain lineups, but he is more of 4.

I agree we should be okay, but he and Govan are about the same on the defensive side of the ball. On offense Govan is better stepping out and Hayes is better on the block. We'll really just miss a different look on the offensive end, having the capability to exploit matchups.

only thing that stinks about it is game 4 is Oregon in Maui. Where a loss puts in consolation bracket. Don't want to see Chaminade in there at all.

Will miss games against Maryland and Oregon. Govan needs to stay out of foul trouble.
