Is Xavier the bad boy of the Big East?

I think this role was typically reserved by Georgetown but they are temporarily down. Jalen Reynolds, JP Macura and even Chris Mack seem to have a knack for trolling their opponents.

That's reserved to me for Providence, Seton Hall or St. John's.

I never viewed X as bad boys.

No
1. I think it's too early, will only be the 4th year in the conference
2. We haven't really been to the point of beating people so much it pisses them off, came in 3rd, 6th, and 2nd so far
3. Not enough rivalry yet with any team(Butler...not really though)
4. Nothing really controversial going on with Xavier, I know with Myles and JP but it's not like Xavier's always accused of cheating for players

I can assure you that Butler hates us (see image below). I also think you are underestimating just how disliked JP & Jalen were by the entire Big East.

And I'd say there's a fair share of Butler dislike from the Xavier side as well.

from styles perspective I think Butler has potential. they're tough and always plays good defense. they just don't have personnels that you'd love to hate.

From personnels standpoint, I'd go with St John's. They now have some flashy players in the back court and their front court is also formidable. Just not sure if they're good enough to warrant that title.

I thought Lavin's team his last season where the bad boys. Just so physical, cocky, and talented. Unfortunately Lavin wasn't able to coach them up. They had major swag. I know Mullin will get St. John's back to an elite level. They are the bad boys in my opinion. I love the NYC style point guard leading other bad dudes.

If you get a few more arrests and allegations like JP and Myles, you'll win hands down.
