A lot of schools hosted their Midnight Madness festivities last night. Any reports from the Big East schools? Here's a quick video of last night's event at SJU....

The Friars held their Late Night Madness tonight. PC Athletics Hall of Famer Doris Burke was the emcee while NBA Hall of Famer Shaq (yes, that Shaq) DJ'd a concert for about an hour. By all accounts "DJ Diesel" brought down the house. It was streamed live on Facebook and YouTube but I can't find the video right now. I'll forward it along if I can find it later on.

Meanwhile, the PC press release:

Creighton not doing one this year. A lot of fans are miffed, but I think the main reason was there weren't enough healthy bodies to scrimmage. (Hanson out, Huff, Zierden, Krampelj coming off surgery.)

Villanova hosts their equivalent of Midnight Madness, Hoops Mania, a few weeks late every year due to Fall Break. It's scheduled for Oct. 28 this year...

Georgetown had their midnight madness last Friday as well. It was a great time as always I'm told. Local rapper Wale performed and Dikembe was in the house to judge the dunk contest that transfer Rodney Pryor won.
Lots of recruits in the house.

I think you can see some video here:
