Since the inception of the nBE, Georgetown has mostly failed to meet it's preseason expectations. So in my mind, they need to prove it before I fully buy in.

2013: Preseason #2, Final #7
2014: Preseason #2, Final #2
2015: Preseason #2, Final #8

Yeah, if Georgetown doesnt make the NCAAs, JT3 should go but he won't.

You have to look at a wider scope than just the last 3 years. Go back 1 more year and the Hoyas won the Big East conference. He has earned time to turn this around. Being bad 2 out of 4 years is not worth firing him and paying him millions of dollars not to coach and a new coach millions of dollars at the same time.

Right 2 out of 4 might not be reason- but if they're bad this year- it's 3 of 4.

And you have to also factor in the 2nd good year in 2012-13- ended with a loss to a 15 seed.

If his name was John Smith instead of JT3, he would already be gone quite frankly. 55-44 last 3 years with a lot of poor tourney performances before that period. If it's another bad year this year- he's got to go.

Agreed.

I just want to see you guys back near the top, because the Big East would benefit from having you there.

Georgetown should be a program that makes the NCAA every year w/o question. They should be a top 25 team every year. They are one step below blueblood imo so the last 3 years have been a big disappointment.
