I agree with you on the Villanova/Purdue matchup.

the other ones no big shocks- the Butler/Indiana game is on Dec 17th- a VERY busy day of sports with a lot of basketball games- but also ESPN has 3 bowl games starting at 2pm(after the Georgetown/Syracuse game at noon). ESPN2 last year that day had the D2 NCAA title game. ESPNU had a sf FCS game(not that I think that the Butler/Indiana game would have any shot of being on ESPNU.)

That Butler/Indiana game, if I'm remembering correctly, has been on CBS a few times lately. I'm pretty sure that's where it was when Butler beat Indiana when they were #1.

Crossroads Classic games involving Butler have been on BTN, CBS and FS1 I believe.

At first I was surprised re: Purdue / Nova, but why would ESPN do ANYTHINg extra to promote the Big East-Big Ten event, particularly now that the B1G has given half their inventory to Fox?

Since the Big Ten team is the home team, doesn't the B1G network get first dibs on those games for the Big East/B1G Challenge?

Yea, ESPN literally owns the ACC and SEC now. So expect those 2 conferences to get all their limelight.
