I don't think there's any concer because the staff has known about it since it happened. It's pretty much the same charges that were filed a month ago.

What's going on X fans? Any concern over him missing time?
Well, yeah, Mack just suspended him indefinitely.
Mack:
“Playing basketball for Xavier is a privilege and we have high expectations for how our student-athletes represent our university."
"Unless Myles meets those expectations he will not be a part of our program."

Look for MD to be reinstated oh about October 15 with probably a game or two suspension. Sends a message, but doesn't really impact the season. Not saying he shouldn't be reinstated, mind you. If what I have read is all there is, then guys have done worse and barely drawn a one-game suspension. At least he has the brains to take his frustration out on things rather than her - though better to wreck your own stuff than someone else's.

This is too bad on a lot of levels, the victim, Myles, X, the program and the fans. Hopefully, things sort out for the best for all parties and the penalty is appropriate for what really happened (still pretty unclear exactly what went down).
On the less important basketball front, he is an important cog in that very strong back court and I personally hope X is back at full strength at some point in the season prior to league play.

Unless there's something really going on behind the scenes that we're not aware of, I wouldn't be concerned with him missing any time, especially during the regular season (and I'm not saying he should).
He's important because of his experience and shooting, but I think X will be just fine even if for some strange reason he does miss time during the season.

Here's a direct quote from a passionate fan on XH:
Per some people Myles violated a no contact order which is absolutely stupid. Nobody's fault other than Myles. Maybe by tweeting yesterday he knew he was an idiot. Dude should put all phones down gently, quietly and walk away.
So, the young man was way too much in love and it didn't work out for them and he handled it beyond poorly - - now to the point of putting his coach into a position where he had to cut him loose.
Chris cut him loose - - indefinitely.
Now it's time for Myles to ponder his entire horizon. Education. Becoming a more mature man. Basketball. Understanding that he'll meet someone else and that, perhaps, all this happened for a reason.
My guess is that it's not too late. He didn't commit an act of violence against another human being or even an animal (e.g. Vick). He didn't commit armed robbery, etc. He committed stupidity as a result of being too much in love with someone who could not sustain that same level of love for her fair reasons.
We can only hope, for his sake and without thinking about Xavier basketball firstly, that he breaks this fever. Then he can say, "okay, enough is enough; it's time for me to move on with my life."

When did Myles violate the no contact order yesterday or a little while ago?
If a little while ago? Why is Mack suspending him now after classes already started?
