Guy is a great coach but he's always been a douche bag. Maybe he was mad cause he was losing to McGill in the 4th quarter.

even funnier the quote from his wife- who is also a whack job. She actually got ejected from a Shocker NCAA game in Omaha for yelling at the refs.

Hilarious. Who gests ejected in a summer exhibition game? Could be many more frustrating days ahead for Greggggggggg. Without his back court of the last four years, they are going to fall off fast. Sure, they will probably contend to win a declining Missouri Valley conference, but his three year run of national importance has come to a screeching halt, IMO. -- but maybe I'm a little biased. By the way, anyone who thinks that crappy glorified community college and its fans are a fit for the BE, well all I will say is that you don't know WSU like we know WSU. And I hope no BE team ever hires him. He doesn't belong here.

Are they going to be good any more or not? Haven't really heard much on them.

And now he's suspended for the next exhibition game. Pretty funny.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... ref-tiradeI tend to disagree with most of my Jays compadres when it comes to Greggggggg. I do agree that he's mostly a jerk, and he definitely said things when the Jays battled his WSU teams for conference crowns that pissed CU fans off.
However, he gets his players to commit to his system and they go out and play their butts off--for him. If you read the story, he told Andy Katz that he thought his team was getting jobbed (and their safety was in jeopardy), so he went off. Hyperbole? Most likely, but it's no skin off his tail to be suspended for an exhibition game, and now his kids know that he'll stand up for them, regardless of the cost to himself. Later in the season, that will pay benefits.

He's not a douche bag, he's a whole swimming pool.
That said I respect the heck out of him as a coach. His players would jump on a live grenade to save him. Plus, the guy can find talent.
As for the upcoming seasons, they have two good players who were 100-150 overall, 3-4 star types that are pretty good. One is a PG/SG who was hurt most of last season, and the other is a small forward, both sophomores. Then they have a bunch of unheralded three star types who if you believe their fans are all future studs.
Really, they're probably an 11 seed type as a Valley title winner, with nowhere near the ceiling any of their teams from the past four years have shown. They'll likely need to win the Valley tourney, because I can see a six or seven loss season that won't get much traction with the Committee. Hell, last year they almost got left out as it was, and that team would stomp this year's team.
And +1000 about Mrs. Gregggggggggg. I wouldn't be married to that woman for all the tea in China.

If you saw the video, he was ridiculous. Lots of coaches feel their team is getting jobbed without being a complete ass clown. I repeat, I hope no BE school ever touches the guy. There is a reason he has no friends among the coaches in that league, and it isn't because they dominated the league for a few years after CU left.
