Just saw this:

Xavier's Trevon Bluiett will declare for NBA Draft, but will not hire agent, sources told ESPN.

So far we've heard Bluiett, Dunn(hiring agent), Bentil. any others so far officially?

Sumner just tweeted he is NOT entering. Kind of surprising since he's already in the first round on some 2017 boards.

Xavier player meetings being held right now so we should find out about Reynolds soon. I figure he declares either way but will be interesting to see if he does with an agent or not.

Good sign, lets hope he stays another year. I dont like his antics but him staying will solidify that front line for Xavier.

Big question next year is if Reynolds doesn't come back will they be able to play Bluiett at the 4? If Gaston, O'Mara and Gates can't handle being the only big that will force Bluiett to the 3 and often take Macura, Myles, or Sumner off the floor. Xavier could get away with playing Blueitt at the 4 last year because the 5 was Reynolds or Farr who were outstanding rebounders. If we keep Reynolds I think that will keep our 5 best players on the floor more often.

I wouldn't mind losing reynolds to the nba. He has not improved much from previous years and has underperformed. with his size and strength he should average 9 rebounds per game. but he averaged 6.5 he doesn't have many offensive moves. not a good passer. not a shot blocker. plays with too much emotion. he has those occasional monster dunks that get ppl to overrate him.

Xavier's got a slew of bigs coming in next year. give the frosh a chance and also gives gates more space and pt. you would think someone given 33min of pt should replicate reynolds production. (9 pts 6 rbs)

Reynolds got 9 & 6 in 19 min a game. A 6'7 Gates and 6'6 Bluiett in the front court could have troubles rebounding against the Bentils, Fishers, and Delgados of the league. I'd say his passing is highly underrated just because he has the reputation of a hothead and usually hotheads aren't thought of as good passers.

ok. I read the wrong stat. so he's averaging 6.5 rebounds per 19 min. that's good numbers then. my point being though is that he's not a difference maker and his development has plateaued. you want to give your young players as much chance to get better and eclipse what reynolds provides on the court.

With the new rules, the only announcement worth reporting is whether or not a player decides to hire an agent or hasn't withdrawn before May 25th.
