Plenty of tickets available for tonight's game. So if you are in town, come on over to Hinkle. These 8:30 starts don't do well in Indy. I saw where FS1 has UFC Flashback on at 8 PM to 8:30 PM. Geez, you think we'd get a little respect and get the start time bumped up to something reasonable.

I expect Butler to win tonight as they do have more to play for, but I wouldn't count on a letdown from Seton Hall as they lost their 1st Butler meeting and have performed very well in games they consider "revenge games" - round 2 conference games when losing round 1, and OOC teams they lost to last year. Results from those games are:
Georgia: won by 7
Wichita State: won by 4
Villanova: lost by 1
Creighton: won by 10
Xavier: won by 9
The Pirates are also 6-1 in 2nd meetings this year, only losing to Villanova (and still significantly improved from the 1st meeting) and with only St. John's doing significantly better against them the 2nd time around- credit to that should go to Kevin Willard and the success he's had making adjustments.

Very important games, as losses would likely put Butler, and Providence on the wrong side of the bubble for now.

Butler has to win, so just like the Hall, I think they do.

Awful shooting start for the Hall right now- they couldn't throw the ball in the ocean! So many missed open looks!

Guess I was wrong about the no let-down. Seton Hall couldn't possibly have looked more disinterested in that first half. Didn't help that Butler had an unreal 3pt shooting half. Hopefully they (actually both teams) regress to the mean in that stat. Good news is that Whitehead's shoulder seems to be okay. Losing him would've been devastating.

Well Butler is playing like the December team again tonight! Good D and explosive on the offensive end! Hope they keep the intensity up and glad that Whitehead was ok. He fell really awkwardly looked like one of those slow motion bike wrecks that ends up with a separated shoulder. (Glad it wasn't!)
