I'll be doing these "Seed Watch" posts a bunch over the final eleven days of the regular season. This has the bracket as it would be today and I also discuss some scenarios of wins and losses for each team playing Wednesday and Thursday this week. The next edition will be out on Friday to discuss what happened Wednesday and Thursday and give some scenarios about Saturday's games.

Big East Tournament Seed Watch 2/23/16

I never really considered the possibility of SHU getting the 2 seed, but if Nova beats X and SHU beats PC this week it gives the Hall an opportunity to pull even in the loss column when they play head to head on Sunday.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the tiebreaker in the event of a series split is best record against best team. Since in that scenario they would have both been swept by Nova, split with Creighton (unless both lose their last game), and swept Providence, it would be decided by Butler and Georgetown (who are currently tied) with X pulling for Butler and SH for the the Hoyas.
