New Independent Seton Hall Message Board

All of the other Big East teams have an independent message board, and I decided it's about time Seton Hall joined them. As of today there is a new Seton Hall message board open for business (just a phrase, it's 100% free). Pirate Hoops is looking to emulate the success of some other sites around the conference such as Butler Hoops, Xavier Hoops, and Bluejay Underground.

I've partnered with a few other people and things are all set up and we've gotten the ball rolling, but now we really need everyone's help. We will need a few more moderators, but most of all we simply need active members. I want to invite all the Seton Hall fans to come be a part of the newest Seton Hall community. Come check us out and see what we have to offer!

Villanova doesn't have an independent board. They tried to get a Scout board going a few years back but never really took off. Villanova's main board is VUSports.com which is in the Rivals network, but unfortunately the premium board is where you will really get the good color and good conversation. The free boards there (Bench Warmers) have become a bit of a sh!tshow, which is unfortunate because back in the day it was really good and got a lot of action.

Speaking of Rivals, what happened to the Treasure Trove and Pirate Hoops Chat. Is this a mutiny? You see what I did there?

I will definitely check out the board. I don't post on other fans boards but I do like to visit them from time to time to get some good color about recruiting and things like that.

Thanks for the kind words. I actually didn't realize Villanova doesn't have an independent board either. I'm surprised. Are they the only other ones?

http://www.vuhoops.com/ is the only thing I am aware of that gets any real traffic. It is obviously more of a blog but they have comments sections for each article that people are pretty active on.

As long as this young group stays together Seton Hall is going to be outstanding moving forward. I really hope they can find a way into the dance this year. Even if they don't make some noise this year it would be great experience for the future, when I think this team will have the potential to go very deep into March.
