If they aren't, they should be doing something like this. Anything that would enhance the Fox partnership and the individual images of member schools would be good.

Georgetown has the same deal. Too lazy to find the article.

Xavier has, and has had for a number of years, a deal with Learfield Sports. There are a few different entities like IMG College, Learfield and the Fox group that are involved with programs.

Generally these are "all sports-all venues" deals which tend to be very inclusive/very specific. Another income stream for small schools (like most of our schools) and probably not an out of the ballpark figure. Last year big school (& football) Alabama signed a deal (if I remember correctly) worth about $25 Mill/yr with IMG. As our schools are private and small (no major football either)- they don't tell. I'd guess G'twn is banking $5mill/yr, with X and now Nova getting $3-5 mill/yr - over 10-15 years. Nice income stream.

So apparently only USC had this type of arrangement with FOX prior to this year. Georgetown signed on for $1-5 mill with FOX earlier this year, and now Villanova. Villanova's new AD is from USC.

I like it. FOX is our media partner and treating us well. The more they have invested in Villanova basketball, the better as far as I'm concerned.

PC signed a 10-year contract extension with Learfield Sports, extending to 2025-26. Butler, Marquette, Seton Hall, and Xavier are with Learfield as well. Gtown and Nova with Fox Sports.
