I almost want St. John's to win this just so we can put to bed any remaining hope on G'town. They are basically torturing their fanbase by repeatedly making it seem like have turned the corner only to fall back down again.

If there is anything that could make St. John's fans happy about this season would be that we put Georgetown out of their misery. Beating Cuse and GTown in a rebuilding year is a win in my book.

I am scared to death of this game.. I remember being here in DC in 1989. Redskins played the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Cowboys won- finished 1-15.... This almost has the same feel to it...

If we win this could be the nail in JT III's coffin. I know i know his dad is blah blah blah. This team should not be 13-11, and he has done less with more.

You would like to think so, but just don't think it's realistic. This will be 2 out of 3 years where the Hoyas should have made the tourney, but just didn't.

No offense here cause I like JTIII, and I like GTown's guys, but CU needs Gtown to lose. Its nothing personal - just business.

Realistic? It's absolutely realistic, like you said he'll miss the tourny 2 out of 3 years. His team is underperforming and GTown is gonna keep him because of his dad? I don't think so, especially if he loses at home to lowly St. John's.

JTIII ain't getting fired.
Some of you St. John's fans are too "what have you done for me lately" considering your team hasn't been good since the 1990's.
JTIII has had tournament success. He has had some great teams that have fallen short in the dance. He has put a lot of guys in the NBA. He has rebuilt several times. He has some young, but good, talent on his roster moving forward. He was a 4 seed last year and actually won a game.
Has he been below expectations the past few years? Sure. But that isn't termination worthy.
Come on. Don't be ridiculous.
