Alkins Eligibilty

Brazziller retweets "strong buzz Alkins may not be eligible for next season". If true, do the Johnnies still bring him in as a partial qualifier like LoVett, knowing he might turn pro the next year and never play a game for you. Should be interesting to see the direction his recruiting takes from here.

I think I would. Part of what has helped PC so much was the guy(name slips me right now) that came to PC, never played a game. Him practicing with the team helped the team out so much.....

If anybody was wondering why villanova backed off recruiting this kid....
That and eric paschalll is a better fit.

Seems like eligibility issues is a caveat for being a SJU recruit.....

When Jay targets a player, he has a pretty good track record of landing them.
He also does a good job limiting his attention on academic liabilities and kids focused in using the school IPAs a short term NBA training/prep center. He prefers student athletes who will develop into quality three or four year players. Hence why Rawlie Alkins stopped receiving phone calls from nova.
