Terrible news at Butler, whose assistant coach Emerson Kampen just lost his 6-month old son to a genetic disease. So sorry to hear this news.

Absolutely horrifying news. Butler suffers another tragic loss. Nobody deserves to go through this kind of adversity.

Damn rough season of the Dawgs off the court! Explains some of the emotion on the court and might explain Coaches Holt's T! He almost got kicked out he was on the ref so hard! (I think it's his first of the year.)

I didn't get to watch until the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half, so I didn't get to see the technical, but I thought when they went inside the huddle that he was coaching with 10x the emotion he normally does. Afterwards it didn't take long to figure out why. Both he and Jones were breaking down into tears during the press conference after the game since Jones both played with and was coached by Emerson.

Absolutely horrible and senseless. I can't imagine having to go through what the Kampens are at this point. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Love this league, don't agree on the teams we root for, but a lot of good people from all the programs in this conference.
