I wonder how many tickets each school is allotted. For some reason I didn't think it was all that many.

500 tickets, as I understand it, but that's for the full session package.
X will send more than that by the time it's all said and done.

Nice.
We need one of the Midwest teams to show up, and with seton hall, providence and nova sending a few thousand we should be good. Too bad the team from queens is always a no show.
I used to say that the big east tourney would quickly become packed again. Schools like providence, seton hall, we're losing their fan base involvement. Pitt, louisvillem West Virginia knocking the, out, and Syracuse, nova and uconn buying all the tickets, those other schools lost their way. But now that they are players again, their annual involvement and attendance will improve.

The team "from Queens" shows up, they just don't stick around very long. Creighton's attendance in 2014 was awesome. This year, we have a chance to get good showing by all 3 "new" members, Xavier, Butler, and even Creighton.

St John's attendance has been poor in the BET.
v. Providence in 2015, they were at 15K. That's real poor for a tourney team playing on their home court in the conference tourney
v. Providence in 2014, they were at 14K. That's no additional bump from the home team fans
Every St. John's BET game should be at 20K. Really no excuse for it not to be.

I live in Cincy but I'm based at 2 Penn (attached to MSG). Very strange coincidence that I have to visit HQ the second week of March every year. My experience is if you're looking for a couple of tickets just scalp or buy from a broker site (like Vivid Seats and SeatGeek - which is actually not a broker but ranks available seats based on price and location then redirects to the applicable site). Even if SJ is playing you can get a ticket. MSG is a great arena and a great place for the BET. I don't know where the seats are for each school's allocation but I'm sure your respective message boards will tell you where most are sitting.

I'm hoping for improved attendance this year. The last couple of year have been good but not even close to a sellout. If we want to keep the ACC/B1G out of MSG for the long run the B.E needs to OWN IT! Pack the house.
Sell those all-session passes!!!

Granted it's harder to see the seats on TV, but other than the suite area blue seats behind the basketball, MSG looks filled up on TV.
