5 Questions re: Dicky Simpson - PC Great

The ex-PC player commented on air today that he thought X and PC were the 2 best teams in the BE "without question." DICKy is entitled to his opinion but the "without question" comment is curious as both those teams currently trail VU by 2 games each and both have not yet beaten Nova since the conf was formed. 1). Shouldn't that fact raise some questions?

Said on air that I f X played Nova 10 times they'd win 7 of them. 2).Does anyone think this X team could win 7 of the next 9 vs this Nova team?

Provided his All-BE first team and there was no Nova player on it. 3). Does anyone agree with DICKy?

4). In light of these comments does Friar DICKy have any credibility as an FS1 college hoops color commentator?

5). Do you think his producer should have a word with him or is he trying to simply be like those two douches on ESPN First Take who say the most ridiculous things in order to stir the pot and get ratings?

There's a legendary broadcaster named Jim Simpson, but I believe he passed away a few weeks ago.

Guessing you are talking about Dickey Simpkins, former PC star who won a few rings with the Bulls.

The announcers were Dickie Simpkins and Steve Psycioc sp? I had to mute them. They were really bad. They actually, made the game harder to follow. I saw Dickies picks and laughed, then imagined a response like this from a Nova fan. Don't worry Nova has proved to be the best team in the Big East. Enjoy it:)

I guess Nova being unable to make it to the second weekend of the NCAA tourney (ya know, the part of season that really matters) since 2009, causes you to be hyper-sensitive. I hope this year, Nova can finally make an NCAA run for your sake.... And the Big East's

I'd guess PC fans would like to hear him, but I don't think he's good. FS really has some top-notch announcing crews, put BSPN to shame. I like Marshall, Spanarkle, Bardo, Bahe and obviously Raff on color, think FS can do better than Simpson. He reminds me of the ex-jock color guys on football like Dave Lapham or Matt Millen years ago. Just loud, dumb opinions that leave you scratching your head and muting. (That being said, I'd probably like him if he were a Creighton grad.)

I missed him saying Nova is the third best team in the league, but that is absurd.
