I think PC-Seton Hall will be the best game. Two similar teams being perimeter oriented/fast paced. Seton Hall has a brutal three game stretch - @ PC, vs. Nova, @ Xavier. The Pirates IMO will be hungry and @PC is frankly the easiest of those three games.

I actually think the best game may be Georgetown/Nova. It's the super bowl for Georgetown. Kind of now or never. We haven't matched up well with X(though we did have that great game in the BET last year). Desperation for the Hoyas.
Seton Hall think will be very interesting to watch.

I think SHU either wins this game with Providence or gets destroyed- no in between. Derrick Gordon called a players only meeting after the Creighton game because he saw from the outside what happened to Seton Hall around this point last year and wanted to be proactive about preventing this team from going down the same road. Either they come out hungry, playing together, and will themselves to a win, or frustration from the CU game boils over and the team likely isn't seriously heard from again.

I'm a little more worried about Marquette than Ken Pom. Should be a real road test for Xavier on Saturday.

Agree. Glad that Sumner will at least be available.

Did anything ever come out about why Whitehead, Delgado and (??) sat almost the entire second half of the CU game? I know this was addressed on another thread the day after the game, but I never saw any kind of definitive explanation.
Pirates fans?

Georgetown fans should be thrilled as I am going up to DC to go to the game with my dad (an MU grad). I can't remember the last time VU won a game I was physically in attendance for so that bodes well for Georgetown. I am looking forward to the game but am worried about Villanova's ability to handle Georgetown's size. I am hoping for a much better game than last year as that was essentially over 10 minutes into the game which made the rest of the evening pretty much suck.

It will be interesting to see just how many people show up for the PC-SH game on Saturday. I've heard maaaannnyyy people (with tickets) say they will be staying home to watch the Pats. Just awful timing.
