Mack: "That’s sort of putting the cart before the horse. He has been fully released and we’re excited to welcome him back." #Xavier

Here is @CoachChrisMack's full quote on @edmondsumner from the Big East conference call. Asked if he expected Sumner to play at Marquette...

Mack joked that he called in late to the conference call because he was still getting over his Powerball loss.

Glad to see he'll be back. May be the most athletic point guard in the league after Dunn. That foul he took against Nova was pretty brutal. Clean, hard foul, but man did he take a shot.

I love Mack's sense of humor with the powerball quote...

Great news! As a Villanova fan, I know our players had absolutely no intent to hurt anybody, but regardless last thing you want to do is see a great kid like Sumner go down playing against your team. Although you know it's not your fault you still feel bad.

Looking forward to watching him play the rest of the way!

That's great news. This kid is a lot of fun to watch. Glad he will be back on the floor soon.

Ed showing no signs of rust yesterday. Maybe I'm crazy, but this kid is about to explode on the BE scene.

It was awesome to see him looking like his normal self. My optimism has jumped off the charts.
