You are wrong about SH in the AP, they got 22 votes.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/rankings/apCan't argue with these polls. X > Nova.

I know you're just stirring the pot a bit.
X +1 in the polls and -31 on the court.
(Just kidding...before any X fans go postal)

pretty much exactly what I expected. Maybe a few more votes for Seton Hall- but the fact the DePaul game was so close hurt them big time I think.

They'll probably beat us by 20 and when rankings come out it'll be Nova 18th and SHU 19th. That seems to be the logic of poll voters these days.
Boom.

Having Providence behind Arizona is still ridiculous to me given Providence beat them in what was essentially a home game for Arizona

poll voters are keeping their Big East respect to the bare minimum necessary. enough to hide their big east bias. the P5 is still getting more leverage in the polls. if the Hall was in the ACC they would be ranked with the same identical resume (20-25) and Providence would be sixth, and Butler wouldn't be 18. the P5 rises faster and falls slower than the B.E has so far (see KY, AZ, NC)

So seton hall gets 4 votes but Pitt gets ranked?
Pitt has feasted on terrible teams, their best win is Syracuse right now, and being a St. John's fan I know beating Syracuse this year isn't that hard
