Our innovative, exciting Big East Marathon is set for Saturday, Jan 2nd, broadcast nationwide in crystal clear high-definition on FS1.

This is the type of gameday where you might not mind getting hit with a blizzard as long as the electricity stays on. I really wanted to see Mullin and fhe Johnnies in person, but I can't make it to The Dunk, so I've already given my tickets away to friends who are huge Friar fans.

All the kidz are talking about this marathon, and other people are already copying it. Seriously, isn't it great to be far ahead in front of our peers as far as cutting-edge thinking and brilliant ideas are concerned. That's because the 10 of us have brains in our heads and open minds and are always looking for ways to improve.

DePaul at Seton Hall, 11am.
#9 Butler at #6 Xavier, 1pm.
St John's at #12 Providence, 3:30pm.
Marquette at Georgetown, 5:30pm.
#16 Villanova at Creighton, 10pm.

Really really relieved to hear that Edmond Sumner is doing well and flew back with the team. Really tough fall. I thought the foul was clean, just a bad awkward landing.

I'll tape all the games, but i should be able to catch the end of the Hoyas-Warriors game live, and hope to chill in front of the Cats-Jays at 10pm. The 11am start in Newark will allow us to have the DePaul-Seton Hall gamescore scrolling along the bottom of sports channels for 13 hours all day Saturday.

Good luck everyone!

only thing is for basketball most of the time, they only show the top 25 scores for basketball all day long. Can't really show 141 scores all day long.

Why isn't the #1 team on Butler/Xavier? I think folks would have to admit that's kind of a puzzling choice.

Also, why only 4 analysts? Why is Tarik Turner doing 2 games?

Joe Davis and Jim Jackson is a strong team. Bill Raftety is working on CBS on Saturday. BTN has 5 games on Saturday.

I hate that only Top 25 games are mostly shown. Another problem ESPN creates with college basketball. FS1 gives you more scores. Networks need to stop with all the soccer and women's basketball scores.

They may be a strong team, but isn't Gus Johnson, the clear #1 guy. The Butler/Xavier game is the clear #1 game on Saturday, but best guy isn't calling the game? Seems kind of strange to me. Heck, you could make the case that the best game has the #3 announcing group(I think Brando/Bahe would be #2 over Davis/Jackson).

Let me be the first to predict a Jays win tomorrow. Just think Nova will have a natural let down after an emotional game and then long flight out west. And CU is tough at home. Creighton by 6.

I'm very worried about the Crieghton game. They know how to spread the nova defense and find open looks.

Of course Stever over thinking things again. Maybe it was just more convenient to to allocate the games this way? Why is it always so complicated for you?
